Welcome to LankeyLand!: Lankey Anniversary Tour '09

In November we decided to pack up the family truckster and head down to visit Mom & Dad in Florida. We called it the "anniversary tour" because our anniversary was Nov. 11th, and on the way down we stopped to see friends in North Carolina - who were married on the 24th - and on the way home we stopped to see friends in Georgia - who were married on the 10th! It was an exhausting trip but good visits had by all.

6:00 was mighty early for all...

We weren't even out of Ohio yet when Elyse found a little friend that she wanted to take with her...

We told her that he had to stay there so he could stay with his family...through her tears she said "but we could be his family..." No - we didn't cave and he was left in southern Ohio :-).....

Finally arrived - here is Elyse & Grampa Larry sharing a drink...

Elyse is always determined to tame the wild ocean...which is funny since they both have alot in common :-)...

Our last activity in Florida was the Lion Country Safari...what an awesome adventure!! Took about an hour & half to drive through but we saw some amazing animals!...
