Welcome to LankeyLand!: Myrtle Beach December 2010

On December 14th we packed up the family truckster & headed south to have a visit with my side of the family. For the first time in a few years, my parents, and both of my sisters and families were ALL together! The final destination was Myrtle Beach, SC for an entire week! But we did stop in Rocky Mount, NC to visit with our dear friends the Stewarts :-)

Jason is not happy with me for this one but I had to take a pic of him eating a donut :-) A very rare occasion!!...

PACKED to the top! Will be very glad when we are out of the baby equipment stage...

Like Jill said, I think those dress-ups were made for smaller girls...

A short visit (too short) but it was still exhausting for the girls who didn't stop once!...

And we finally made it to Myrtle Beach!...

My seesters, trying to come up with a game plan for the week. Sharon & co. flew in from Seattle, which was so exhausting for them. We are very thankful!...

We had an overnight guest a few times...cousin Braden is only 9months younger than Elyse so we basically had 2 sets of twins! It was a love-hate relationship :-)...

We had a birthday party for Josh & Bean (2 on the 3rd), Janna (10 on the 15th) and Braden (5 on the 2nd)...

Gramma went over the top in making this a special time for us - they even brought a tree! And decorations, stocking stuffers, Christmas cookies, and more...thanks Mom!...

"Toy of the Year"...the Sing-a-ma-jig...was a hit, even with the older kids! Jake had tears in his eyes from laughing so hard!...

Some of us went to "Medieval Times" - very fun!...

We cheered for the Red Knight (who didn't do very well and ended up getting a new horse halfway through because his was not cooperating)...

It was tons of fun, and great food!...
