Mador's Release

Early in May we decided that it was time to release Mador back to nature. After MANY phone calls and being assured he would be ok, we chose a nice spot up in Jackson, Michigan, part of a huge park that we plan to visit again. It was a hard day (for me, I'll be honest) but knowing that he has a nice life now and more space makes me happy.

You may recall when we got him he was the size of a quarter (see right picture)...the day of his release, just over a year later, you can see how much he has grown!
