He walks...she talks!

Josh finally gets it! The boy is on the move...on 2 feet!...

And this girl has gotten very chatty & won't stop moving!!...

Derek Zoolander or Josh Lankey?

If any of you have ever seen the movie "Zoolander" then you will get this!! Ben Stiller is a male model who has been made famous by his "blue steel" look. I think Josh runs a close second :-)

Josh gets a big-boy haircut :-)

Gramma took the lead on this one to show Mommy how it's done. (Cutting Daddy's hair is a little different! Buzz buzz buzz & you're done!)
Slight comb-over has to go! (Note the "blue steel" look that he is perfecting)

Really hard to hit a moving target! The lighting wasn't good for a final pic so I took these the day after...
Those eyes are going to be DANGEROUS!!!

Christmas '09

Did you know that Santa visits the Highway Patrol too? He made stop at the Swanton Post this year, and all the kids were ready for him!

Some of Post 89 Troopers and their kids, with the big guy himself...
Christmas Eve festivities were held at Ma & Pa Lankey's as tradition holds, but Christmas morning was just for us...Jammie day, naps, and fun! Elyse's list this year was very affordable - things like a hula hoop, jump rope, yo-yo, and a bag of purple balloons....Santa didn't have to break the bank this year, although he pulled out some other neat presents from his hat, like movies and a purple bean bag, among other things.

Mommy's favorite part of Christmas day...a nap with Josh...
Merry Christmas!
